Signature Brown Gravy is also sold on its own at $2.49, which is the detail that matters if you like it: a portion of plain mash with gravy ordered separately costs more than the combined item does. Order the version you want rather than building it.

Dips, Sauces and the Packet Pricing Oddity

Seven proper dips cost $0.29 each: Classic Ranch, KFC Sauce, Honey BBQ Sauce, Comeback Sauce and three more. Three condiment packets, Ketchup among them, cost $0.50. A packet of ketchup costs more than a full tub of KFC Sauce, which surprises almost everyone who notices it.
