How Do You Order From the KFC App?

Five steps from download to a discounted order. About five minutes the first time.

    Download the KFC app

    It is free on the App Store and Google Play. Search "KFC" — the publisher is Yum! Brands or KFC Corporation depending on the store listing.

    Create an account

    An email address and a password. The account is what carries your rewards balance and your saved orders, so ordering as a guest earns nothing.

  3. 3

    Set your restaurant

    Pick the KFC you are ordering from before you browse. The offer list is filtered by restaurant, so setting it afterwards can make an offer you were counting on disappear.

    Build the order

    Add items, then check the offers tab before checkout. Some promotions apply automatically once the basket qualifies; others need their code pasted in.

    Apply a code and pay

    Paste the code exactly as printed, confirm the total actually moved, then pay. A gift card can be added as a payment method and stacks with a code.

Yes, on both the App Store and Google Play. There is no subscription and no paid tier — the account exists to hold your rewards balance and order history.
Use promo codes, for one. All 20 live offers need a code, and the counter has no field for one. One offer is app-only outright. You also earn rewards points, which an in restaurant order does not.
You earn points on qualifying spend through the app, and redeem them against menu items once the balance is high enough. The earn rate and the redemption thresholds are KFC's to set and they change, so read the rewards tab in the app rather than any figure a site like this prints.
Not always. kfc.com takes the same codes, so a browser works for 3 of the online-only offers. But 1 are app-only, and rewards points only accrue in the app.
Because the app filters by your restaurant and we do not. We list every promotion in KFC's national feed; your restaurant may have opted out of some of them. That is also the most common reason a code from any site fails.
Yes, where the restaurant offers it — 99% of US restaurants do. Ordering delivery through KFC rather than a third-party app is what keeps your codes and your points working. The delivery page compares the two routes.
