KFC Saucy Nuggets

Saucy nuggets are the same Original Recipe nuggets tossed in sauce rather than served with a dip on the side. Three sauces are offered, and KFC states that availability varies by restaurant: Honey Garlic, Honey BBQ and Korean BBQ.

Tossed is the operative word. The sauce coats every nugget, so the crust softens within minutes and these do not travel. They are sold as combos with Secret Recipe Fries, a biscuit and a drink, which means the side is fixed rather than chosen. Korean BBQ is the least sweet of the three and holds up best against the fries.

Per nugget the twelve piece is the best of the three, and by a clear margin rather than a marginal one. All three sit on the Combos menu rather than on this page, because KFC lists them as combos.
