KFC Sweet Tea costs $2.99 and carries 280-910 cal depending on the size. It is brewed black tea sweetened while hot, which is what makes Southern sweet tea different from iced tea with sugar stirred in: the sugar dissolves completely instead of settling. On a chain founded in Kentucky, it is the drink with the strongest claim to belonging on the menu.

It is also sweeter than most people outside the South expect, and the large size carries more sugar than a full-size fountain soda. That is the honest caveat.
